Fun with Liquid Nitrogen

In case you ever wondered what happens when you freeze roses in liquid nitrogen, then you should watch this video. Many thanks to Adam Wilkins, the lab tech for my CBMS336 unit, who filmed and edited it.

  1. We did some filming with LN2 last year, showing how to freeze stuff and what happens to roses (and other things) when you drop them or smack them with hammers. I particularly like the way both the roses attacked you.

  2. I liked the opening title "A sensitive moment with Professor Ian Paulsen" and also the way they could barely keep him in frame as he walked around :-)
